Change to the study program

                                            CHANGE TO MY STUDY PROGRAM

To start I want to say that for me study here is fantastic, nevertheless there are some aspects of the carrer that maybe can be reconsidered.

The curriculum I think is good, I like that the plan has a lot of practice subjects and also the posibility of choose a mention like painting, sculpture, textile, etc... In my opinion could be a good idea the addition of others mentions like ilustration or cinema.

Second, I think the worload is not bad, it is simply bad distribuited, could be more better if the teachers decide to do the evaluations in different periods of the semester and not everyone at the same time. Sometimes is ilogic the way in wich these are asigned: for weeks you have nothing and then arrive one week full of test and works to make.

On the other hand I believe that the infrastructure of the faculty is very good, we have different types of laboratories depending the speciality, and a very beautiful garden... but it is not optimal: is not posible that the classroom in wich we paint can't support the rain, putting in risk our works of art.

Finally I really think is not extremly necessary the teconology in the education, maybe for someone subjetc like digital image, cinematic or photo, because always is good keep actualized about the new lenguajes of the art, but I think we really have this facilities. If I think the teconology is not primordial for the education, in change, a good professor it is. The methods that use a professor can determinate so much to the formation about a student, I think keep a friendly and respectful relationship and have the knowledge and motivation are the principal motors of a good learning. And in general I think the teachers of this faculty have this disposition.

  1. To be frank, I do not find our faculty very pretty, but probably I am centering in the bad or wrong things and in other departments of the university that are precious!
    Regards!
